Leadership Assessment and Global Leadership Assessment
The success of any coaching programme depends on how well it is set up. Our free leadership assessment and discovery sessions will help you create any programme to succeed.
We’re based in Milton Keynes in the UK, and work worldwide on Skype. We can introduce you to 2500 certified MGSCC coaches worldwide.

Leadership Assessment
We start all our coaching programmes with a free self-administered 15 minute online leadership assessment and a 45 minute phone or Skype debrief. We then recommend our discovery programme so you can test drive our approach. You can also request a full 360 leadership assessment and 360 behavioural feedback and feed-forward assessment. We offer a tailored range of programmes including those with a no growth, no pay guarantee.
Free Leadership Assessment
Our free leadership assessment is self-administered and covers 6 themes: communication, engaging people, boundary-less inclusion, assured success, and continuous change. Each theme includes 3 key leadership competencies with a total of 72 competence areas between them.
The online survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and you receive an individual report report showing how you compare with a normalised average of leaders across the world in the key competence areas. There follows a free 45 minute telephone or Skype debrief to discuss your results if you want it.
Reserve your debrief session in Michael’s online diary below, and add the words ‘Free Leadership Assessment’ in the comments section of the registration form. We will then send you the link to the assessment.
Discovery Sessions
Our discovery sessions let you confirm what you want to achieve, and at the same time find out if we’re the best people to help you achieve it.
We’ve found that to benefit from coaching you need a minimum amount of:
a) ambition, b) courage, c) discipline, and d) openness/humility,
as well as a commitment to invest some of your time and energy in the programme.
Our discovery sessions will enable you to clarify what you’ll achieve, how you’ll benefit and what you’ll need to commit to get the results you want.
Full 360 Leadership Assessment
We recommend you follow up your discovery sessions with a full leadership assessment from your leading stakeholders. This gives you richer information to decide on the key areas to work on. See: Leadership Development Areas.
360 Behavioural Feedback and Feed-Forward.
Finally, and to many leaders this is the most important part of the leadership assessment process, we confidentially interview your key stakeholders to get raw feedback and feed-forward that we compile into a personal report.
While we adjust the questions to each situation, typical questions might be:
- What 1-3 areas is the leader good at?
- If you were the leader, what 1-3 areas would you develop?
- What would be the short and long term benefits on you (as leader), the team and the company if you developed them?
- What might be some of the short and long term implications and costs if you didn’t?
- Any other confidential or non confidential points you would like to add?
You’re then in the very best position to choose what to work on.
